A standard shower rail set comprises the riser rail (usually 600 to 900mm), an adjustable hand shower bracket, the hand shower head itself, and a flexible hose with a wall elbow or diverter outlet. The Round 4 Function and Hansgrohe Crometta sets in this collection follow that layout. Some sets also include the wall elbow, others assume you have an existing diverter or bath mixer outlet. Will the shower rail sets work on standard South African water pressure?

How does the Hansgrohe 5-year warranty work in South Africa?
Hansgrohe carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty on its showering products, supported in South Africa by the local distributor. The warranty covers manufacturing defects on the spray plate, hose, and rail mechanism in normal residential use. Damage from limescale build-up, harsh cleaners, or incorrect installation is excluded, which is why we recommend installation by a qualified plumber and routine descaling with the Hansgrohe QuickClean nubs. What height should the rail be installed at?
As a general guide, mount the upper rail bracket between 1900 and 2100mm above floor level, depending on the height of household members and whether the rail is used over a bath or in a walk-in shower. The hand shower then slides on the rail to suit each user. Allow at least 100mm of clear wall above the upper bracket so the shower head can be lifted off cleanly for cleaning.
