Type 1 and Type 2 Are Two Different Arms
Type 1 is the traditional one and the largest group here at twenty one holders. It is a single round open ended arm with a disc stopper at the tip, so the roll spins freely but cannot slide off when you pull. Type 2 swaps that for an open arm fixed at an angle, with a slight curve at the end doing the same job and a squarer line against the wall. Six here are plain Type 2 and five more are Type 2 with a flap.
The flap models, 4603 and 8503 in the stainless series and 8203 in the 8200 Series, add a hinged cover over the roll. It hides the paper, gives you an edge to tear against one handed, and keeps splashes off the roll where the holder sits close to a basin or shower. In a dry corner the plain Type 2 is simpler, and there is nothing to knock.
Left Hand and Right Hand Are Separate Products
Type 1 is made in a left and a right version under different codes: 4601 and 4607 in the 4600 Series, 8501 and 8507 in the 8500 Series. That is settled at the point of order, not on site, so establish which side of the pan your fixing wall is on first. Only eight of the fifty five titles here state Left or Right outright, so ask us to confirm the hand on the rest. Type 2 is not handed.
Spare Holders and Matching the Rest of the Room
Eighteen of these are spare holders, and a spare holder does not dispense.
