Blutide Moon
Blutide Moon Mixers
Twenty five Moon products are listed, covering a whole bathroom, not one fitting. Basin mixers come in three body heights, high, standard and short, plus a wall type concealed basin mixer with a separate spout. The kitchen is served by single hole and wall type sink mixers, one with a J spout. For bathing there are wall type bath mixers in standard and short offset, round freestanding bath mixers with a hand shower, and concealed shower mixers with and without a diverter.
Which finishes Moon comes in
By the product titles, nine say Black, six say Stainless Steel, two say Brushed Stainless Steel, two say Chrome, and six carry no finish word. Brushed here means brushed stainless steel, not brushed brass, so Moon does not appear on the brushed brass or gunmetal pages. Black Moon items sit with the brand's other black fittings on Blutide Black.
Concealed mixers and diverters
Six Moon items are concealed. A concealed mixer buries the valve body in the wall and leaves only the handle and cover plate visible. The diverter versions add a second control that switches flow between two outlets, usually an overhead rose and a hand shower. The consequence is timing: a concealed valve goes in at first fix, so position and outlet count must be settled with your plumber before tiling. See Blutide shower mixers for the exposed alternatives.
Choosing a basin or sink mixer
Body height is the decision most people get wrong. A high Moon basin mixer clears a counter top basin, where a short or standard body sits too low to wash under comfortably. On an inset or semi recessed basin the short body is the safer choice, and one black Moon short mixer is listed at 90mm. Check spout reach too, so the stream lands mid bowl rather than against the back.
Sink mixer on these titles means a kitchen or scullery tap. Single hole versions mount through the sink or worktop, while wall type versions come off the wall behind and keep the counter clear.
