Duravit Balcoon Bathroom Collection
The Duravit Balcoon bathroom collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola, combines strong architectural forms with warm colours, tactile finishes and practical everyday functionality. Its distinctive interplay of geometric volumes and softly rounded interiors creates a contemporary bathroom aesthetic that feels both sophisticated and inviting.
The Balcoon ceramic collection includes compact hand basins, washbasins, furniture basins, double basins and countertop washbowls. The sculptural washbowls combine round or oval internal forms with precise square bases, while the furniture basins feature monolithic rectangular shapes with smoothly integrated bowls and narrow ceramic rims.
Selected Balcoon ceramics are available in White High Gloss, White Satin Matt and the distinctive Clay Terra Matt finish. DuraShield® protective glazing is available on selected products, helping to create a hygienic, easy-to-clean ceramic surface.
The extensive Balcoon furniture collection includes wall-mounted vanity units, console vanity units, consoles, open storage elements and semi-tall bathroom cabinets. Structured furniture fronts, contrasting finishes and asymmetrical combinations of drawers and open compartments give the range a distinctive architectural character.
Balcoon furniture is available in a nature-inspired palette that includes ivory, sand beige, umber, slate brown and terraccino. Selected mineral consoles are offered in textured finishes such as lava, basalt and concrete, allowing designers and homeowners to create layered, tonal bathroom compositions.
The toilet collection includes wall-mounted and floor-standing toilets with coordinating bidets, cisterns and toilet seats. Selected toilets feature Duravit Rimless® flushing technology for efficient flushing and easier cleaning, while the matching ceramic finishes allow the toilet area to coordinate with Balcoon basins.
Balcoon built-in baths continue the collection’s interplay of levels and forms. The raised oval bathing area sits within a clean rectangular surround, creating a striking architectural feature while providing a comfortable and practical bathing space.
Coordinating Balcoon tapware is available for the basin, bidet, shower and bath areas. The mixers feature softly curved elliptical handles and are offered in Chrome, Matt Black and Brushed Stainless Steel finishes. Selected models incorporate FreshStart and MinusFlow technologies to help reduce unnecessary hot-water and water consumption.
