Duravit C.1 Taps & Mixers
The Duravit C.1 taps and mixers collection, designed by Kurt Merki Jr., combines precise architectural lines with refined functionality. Its timeless, minimalist design has been developed to coordinate particularly well with modern Duravit ceramics and contemporary bathroom interiors.
C.1 provides coordinated basin mixers, shower mixers, thermostats, bath mixers and bidet taps, allowing the same distinctive design language to flow throughout the complete bathroom.
For the basin area, Duravit C.1 offers single-lever basin mixers in four different sizes, making it possible to match the mixer height to everything from compact hand basins to larger countertop washbowls. The taller XL versions are particularly suitable for above-counter basins, while wall-mounted basin mixers offer a streamlined alternative for contemporary installations.
C.1 basin mixers incorporate Duravit AquaControl and AirPlus technology. AquaControl allows the angle of the water stream to be adjusted by up to 20 degrees to better suit the basin and help minimise splashing. AirPlus introduces air into the water stream, creating a softer, fuller flow while maintaining efficient water consumption. Standard C.1 basin mixers operate at approximately five litres per minute.
Selected C.1 basin mixers are also available with FreshStart and MinusFlow technology. FreshStart helps reduce unnecessary hot-water use by delivering cold water when the mixer handle is positioned centrally, while MinusFlow further limits water consumption on selected models.
For the shower area, the C.1 collection offers an extensive choice of exposed and concealed shower mixers and thermostats. Concealed controls are available for one or two shower outlets, with both round and square design options to suit different bathroom styles.
Complete Duravit C.1 shower systems combine an overhead shower, hand shower and either a thermostat or single-lever mixer in one coordinated solution. Their exposed installation makes them particularly useful for renovations where extensive concealed plumbing work is not desirable.
For the bath, C.1 includes exposed and concealed bath mixers, bath thermostats and bath spouts, providing options for both built-in and back-to-wall bath installations. A striking floor-standing C.1 bath mixer is also available for freestanding baths, creating a clean architectural feature alongside the bath.
A coordinating C.1 bidet mixer completes the range, making it possible to maintain consistent tapware styling across the basin, shower, bath and bidet areas.
