Duravit Wall-Hung Toilets
Every wall-mounted Duravit pan we carry is here, across D-Code, D-Neo, DuraStyle, Starck 3, ME by Starck, Duravit No.1, Happy D.2, Duraplus and Viu. A wall-hung pan hangs off a frame built into the wall instead of standing on the floor, which leaves the tiling unbroken, makes the floor easy to clean and lets you set the seat height. Everything else lives behind the wall.
Choosing the Projection
Projection is the number to check first: it decides whether the pan suits the room. Compact 480 mm pans in the D-Neo, D-Code and ME by Starck series suit cloakrooms and tight en suites. The bulk of the range sits between 540 mm and 575 mm, the standard family bathroom body. DuraStyle, D-Code and Starck 3 also come as 700 mm projection pans for accessible bathrooms, where the longer body eases transfers and leaves room for support rails.
Rimless Ceramics and Concealed Fixings
Most pans here are rimless. Duravit Rimless does away with the closed flushing rim, so there is no hidden ledge collecting deposits and the bowl wipes out completely. Selected pans add HygieneGlaze, an antibacterial glaze fired into the bowl up to the rim, and the ME by Starck and Soleil by Starck pans use HygieneFlush, which pairs the open rim with a flush from two openings. Several D-Neo pans use Durafix, a concealed mounting system that hides the fixing hardware so the ceramic front stays unbroken.
What Goes Behind the Wall
The pan is the visible third of the job. A supporting frame fixed to the structural floor and wall carries the load, not the ceramic or the plasterboard, and holds the concealed cistern. A flush plate then finishes the face. Both are bought separately: see Duravit cisterns for DuraSystem frames and in-wall cisterns, and Duravit flush plates for the A.1 and A.2 actuator plates. The frame goes in before the wall is closed and tiled, so plan it into the build.

What do I need to install a Duravit wall-hung toilet?
Four parts. The pan itself, a supporting frame fixed to the structural floor and wall, a concealed cistern that sits inside the frame, and a flush plate on the face of the wall. The frame carries the load rather than the ceramic or the plasterboard, so it has to be anchored properly. The frame and cistern go in before the wall is closed and tiled, which is why this is a job to plan into the build.
What projection should I choose for a wall-hung toilet?
Projection is how far the pan stands out from the finished wall. A 480 mm compact pan suits a cloakroom or a tight en suite where the floor is short and every centimetre counts. Between 540 mm and 575 mm is the standard family bathroom size and the most comfortable for daily use. The 700 mm projection versions are built for accessible bathrooms. Measure the clear floor in front of the wall before deciding.
Does a Duravit wall-hung pan come with the seat?
Often not. Anything listed as pan only is supplied without a seat, and pans described as being for a SensoWash seat and cover are shaped for that shower toilet seat rather than a standard one. A few products do include a soft close seat and say so in the title. Duravit seats are cut to one ceramic series, so order the seat for that exact series rather than assuming any Duravit seat will fit.
Can I fit a wall-hung toilet in an existing bathroom?
Yes, but it is more work than swapping a close-coupled pan. The frame and cistern have to sit inside the wall, which means either opening up a stud wall or building a false wall or duct in front of a masonry one. That changes the room depth and the tiling, and the waste and water connections usually need moving. If the wall cannot be opened up, a back-to-wall pan hides the pipework in a duct instead.
What is the advantage of a rimless wall-hung toilet?
A conventional pan has a closed flushing rim, a hollow ledge around the top of the bowl that distributes water and traps deposits out of reach. Duravit Rimless removes that ledge and directs the water so it still washes the whole inner surface. Combined with a wall-hung pan that leaves the floor clear underneath, it removes the two places in a toilet that are hardest to clean properly.
