Hansgrohe FixFit Wall Outlets

The FixFit is a wall outlet — the fitting that brings water out of the wall and gives your shower hose something to connect to. It's the last piece of a concealed shower: unobtrusive, well made, and finished to match the rest of your fittings. Small as it is, it's the difference between a tidy, finished wall and an exposed, unfinished connection.

Why a concealed shower needs a FixFit

This is the key thing to know when you're ordering. With an exposed shower, the hand-shower hose screws straight onto the exposed thermostat. With a concealed installation, the hot and cold water are mixed inside the thermostat behind the tiles, and the mixed water is then fed out through the wall — where it needs a FixFit to emerge and to connect the hand shower hose. In other words: if your shower is concealed and has a hand shower, you need a FixFit. It's the part that's easiest to forget and impossible to do without.

Choose your features

FixFit comes in several practical versions, so you can match the fitting to the job:

Non-return valve — prevents water flowing back into the supply, for hygiene and to meet plumbing regulations.
Pivot (ball) joint — lets the hose connection swivel, so the hose sits at a natural angle and moves freely.
Stop / shut-off valve — lets you turn the water off at the outlet itself, handy for changing a hand shower or isolating the supply.
Integrated shower holder — some FixFit outlets double as a hand-shower holder, combining two fittings in one clean piece.

Design shapes and finishes

Because the FixFit is on show, it's made to coordinate. Choose the cover shape to echo your thermostat and shower — E (soft-square), S (round) or Square — and match the finish across the room. FixFit is available in Chrome and FinishPlus surfaces so it sits seamlessly alongside your ShowerSelect or Ecostat control and your shower. FinishPlus surfaces are PVD-coated and reproducible for up to 15 years.

FixFit Porter — outlet and holder in one

If you want the hand shower to have a home as well as a connection, the FixFit Porter range combines the wall outlet with a hand-shower holder in a single fitting — a clean, minimal solution that saves a second bracket and keeps the wall uncluttered. Available in matching E, S and Square designs.

Renovation and replacement

A FixFit is also the simple way to smarten up an existing shower: it connects to a standard ½" (G½) supply, so swapping a tired old wall outlet for a crisp new FixFit is a quick, low-cost upgrade — no tiling required.
