Select: start and stop with a touch

The headline feature on Metris Select M71 models is the Select button, set right on the spout. A single press starts or stops the water — while your chosen temperature and volume stay exactly where you set them on the lever. Because you can tap it with the back of your hand, an elbow or a forearm, it's perfect for the moments your hands are covered in flour or holding a pan: turn the water off without smearing the tap, then straight back on. It's more hygienic, and because the water only runs when you need it, it saves water too.

Two spray types for every job

Metris M71 gives you two sprays, switched by a diverter button on the spout: a crystal-clear laminar stream for quickly filling pots and the kettle, and a soft shower spray for gently rinsing fruit, vegetables and delicate glassware. The shower spray is lockable and returns to normal automatically when you close the handle.

Reach everywhere around the sink

Metris M71 is built for room to move. The tall, 360°-swivelling spout (adjustable in steps to 110° or 150° where you need to limit it) and the generous ComfortZone mean big pots and awkward trays are no trouble — and the pull-out spray takes water exactly where it's needed in a single motion.

sBox and MagFit — reach and refinement

The supplied sBox mounts in the base cabinet and manages the pull-out hose so it glides out and back smoothly, quietly and safely, protects it from damage, and extends the working reach to as much as 76 cm — all while fitting into standard base units. When you're done, the spray glides back and the MagFit magnet holds it front-and-centre on the spout, so it always sits perfectly.

Control on the sink rim: 2-hole and rocker options

This is Metris M71's clever specifier trick. On the 2-hole models, the controls move to the front rim of the sink — either a Select button (press to start/stop; on this version it can even open and close the sink drain) or a rocker lever (tilt for on/off and volume, turn for temperature). That's the ideal solution when there's a window behind the sink, where a tall tap can't tilt back — the tap stays low and the control sits comfortably on the rim.

A spout height for every sink

Metris M71 comes in several spout heights, roughly 220 to 320 mm, so you can match the tap to your sink depth, your splashback and the size of what you wash — from a neat mid-height mixer to a tall spout that clears the largest stockpot.

Water-saving, quiet and easy to keep

Behind the features is thoughtful engineering. AirPower enriches the spray with air for a soft, full feel on less water; the soft shower spray uses as little as 3.5 l/min and splashes less thanks to a redesigned jet shaper; the durable ceramic cartridge gives precise, smooth control; and QuickClean silicone nozzles wipe clean of limescale in seconds.
