Why Raindance Alive

Raindance Alive is the latest addition to hansgrohe's most popular shower family, and it takes the range somewhere new: a shower that's as considered to look at as it is to stand under. It pairs the two best-loved hansgrohe sprays — PowderRain and RainAir — with a design language that's deliberately soft, low-profile and human. The result is a shower that feels like a personal spa without dominating the room.

A design that all but disappears

What sets Alive apart is restraint. The spray jets sit beneath a stylish mesh-effect cover — a grid-like surface that lets the water flow organically and hides the technology. The overhead shower wears an anodised aluminium cover and is extraordinarily flat for a multi-spray head. Even the exposed shower pipe lies so close to the wall, and the control protrudes so little (around 40 mm with the handle), that it reads almost like a concealed installation — freeing up space and keeping the wall clean and calm.

Spray modes

Raindance Alive carries up to three hansgrohe spa sprays, switched from the Select button integrated seamlessly into the hand-shower handle:

PowderRain — thousands of gossamer micro-droplets that cocoon the whole body; quiet, gentle and water-saving.
RainAir — air-enriched droplets (via AirPower) that feel soft and voluminous, like warm tropical rain.
Massage — a concentrated spray to ease tension.

The Alive range

Hand shower — a universal round design with a large 125 mm spray disc and a light, ergonomic handle, with the Select button built into the grip.
Overhead shower — generously sized yet exceptionally flat, in a round S or soft-square Q design (300 mm round, or 210 × 340 mm Softsquare).
Shower pipe — a complete exposed system whose flat profile and wall-mounted control board give a built-in look, finished with a textile-like Designflex hose for a warmer feel.
Puro Pipe — a consistently cylindrical shower pipe with a round, organic overhead and an Ecostat Element thermostat.

Finishes

Raindance Alive is available across all six hansgrohe FinishPlus surfaces — Chrome, Matt Black, Matt White, Polished Gold Optic, Brushed Black Chrome and Brushed Bronze — so the shower can match the taps and the scheme. FinishPlus surfaces are PVD-coated and reproducible for up to 15 years.

Efficient as well as beautiful

Soft doesn't mean wasteful. AirPower enriches the water with air for a fuller feel on less water, EcoSmart models add a flow limiter, and QuickClean silicone nozzles wipe clean of limescale in seconds.
