Why choose Hansgrohe RainDrain Match
A floor-level, walk-in shower is only as good as the drain that makes it possible — and RainDrain Match is designed to be seen as little, or as beautifully, as you like. It's a linear channel drain that sits flush with the tiles, carries water away quickly and quietly, and coordinates with the rest of your hansgrohe shower. As the name suggests, it matches your floor — either with a crisp design cover, or by taking your own tile so it all but vanishes.
Two ways to match your floor
This is what sets RainDrain Match apart:
- A design cover in a coordinating finish. Pick from six surfaces — Chrome, Brushed Stainless Steel, Matt Black, Matt White, Black glass and White glass — to echo your taps, shower and accessories.
- A tileable cover. On the standard finishes, the back of the cover can be tiled with your own floor tile (up to 18 mm), so the drain reads as a continuous run of the same tile across the shower floor — a near-invisible, thoroughly designed look. (The glass covers aren't tiled.)

RainDrain Match is built for the curbless, barrier-free shower that defines contemporary bathrooms — no step, no tray, just a continuous tiled floor draining to a discreet channel. That's a look designers love and a genuine benefit for family, hospitality and universal-design bathrooms where a step-free shower matters.
Six lengths, flexible placement
RainDrain Match comes in six lengths — 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 and 120 cm — so there's a size for every shower. And you don't have to commit early: it can be installed flush along the wall or freely in the shower floor, and the wall installation set is always included, so the final call can even be made on site.
Built for the installer
RainDrain Match is forgiving to fit. The height-adjustable frame lets the grate be set to the exact tile height (tile thickness 7–18 mm) — and crucially, it can be adjusted even after the screed has been poured, which takes the pressure off getting every millimetre right on the first pass.
No smell, high flow, easy to clean
Three everyday things a good drain must get right, and Match does:
- No odour. The Dryphon system uses a flexible membrane that opens to let water through and closes to block sewer gases when the shower's dry — no smell, no standing water needed.
- High drainage. It clears water fast (up to around 60 l/min), so even a generous rain shower drains without pooling.
- Easy cleaning. Lift the cover off with the tool provided and clear any hair or residue in seconds.
