The original wall bar
Hans Grohe invented the shower bar more than 60 years ago, and the principle still does the heavy lifting: the hand shower fixes at any height on the bar, and the slider turns, tilts and locks with one hand for effortless everyday use. Every Unica bar comes with a shower hose and brackets, and works with all standard hand showers — so it drops into almost any shower or bath.
The Unica range
- Unica S Puro — the round-profile modern bar, with an easy-slide holder and Isiflex hose.

Unica Comfort — safety without the "hospital" look
Unica Comfort is a genuinely clever piece: a sturdy shower bar and an ergonomic grab bar in one, TÜV-tested to a tensile force of up to 200 kg. It adds a removable shelf and shower support, makes seated showering easy, and comes in left- and right-hand versions — so a bathroom can be safe and accessible without looking clinical. It's an ideal specification for family bathrooms, ageing-in-place, hospitality and universal-design projects.

Finishes
Unica is offered in Chrome and FinishPlus surfaces such as White/Chrome and Matt Black, plus black/chrome and mirrored glass on the Unica E — so the bar can disappear discreetly or make a statement, and coordinate with the taps and shower. FinishPlus surfaces are PVD-coated and reproducible for up to 15 years.
