Meet Saskia Kunneke from Saskia Interiors
Johannesburg interior designer and decorator Saskia Kunneke believes beautiful interiors should be within everyone’s reach. Through Saskia Interiors she creates warm, liveable spaces for everyday people across Jozi — from mini makeovers and home styling to full room transformations and corporate interior fit-outs.
Her approach is practical and personal. Saskia listens first, then layers natural textures, soft neutral palettes and considered detail to create rooms that feel calm, characterful and unmistakably the client’s own.
Bella Bathrooms is proud to collaborate with Saskia Interiors, pairing Saskia’s eye for design with our carefully curated collection of premium bathroom products to create spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
Dainfern, Johannesburg
Private Residence
This Dainfern home showcases the partnership between Saskia Interiors and Bella Bathrooms — two bathrooms with two very different moods, each designed around the character of the house and finished with carefully chosen products.
In the main en-suite, Saskia chose to celebrate the home’s original arches and classical columns rather than hide them. Stone-look wall tiles, a seamless floor, warm oak joinery and a travertine-toned vanity top create a soft Mediterranean calm, while an illuminated shower niche adds a gentle glow.
Bella Bathrooms supplied the premium fittings that complete the space, including Duravit sanitaryware, Meir tapware in a warm brushed finish and Clear Cube mirrors. Paired with a sculptural freestanding bath framed beneath the arches and twin countertop basins, they turn the room into a true retreat.
The guest bathroom takes the opposite approach. A matte black basin and wall-hung toilet, dark timber cabinetry and a veined black countertop sit against warm stone-toned walls, softened by an arched window and a softly lit mirror.
Together, the two rooms reflect what Saskia Interiors does best — honest, liveable design with a strong sense of place.
