Dado Quartz Built-In Baths

This is a deliberately short page. Bella Bathrooms carries four built-in DADOquartz baths and all four are the same model, the Conrad, listed at 1800 x 910 x 555 mm. What changes between them is the overflow and the finish: NOF or IOF, polished white or pearl white. If you want a real choice of shapes and sizes in the same material, the freestanding side of the range is where the depth is. This page is for the bathroom where the bath drops into a deck.

What NOF and IOF Actually Mean

Dado codes the overflow option into the product title and nobody explains it. NOF is No Overflow, a bath cast with no overflow hole at all, so the inside reads as one unbroken surface and fills deeper. IOF is Internal Overflow, the same bath with the overflow built into the shell. Two of the four Conrads here are NOF and two are IOF. The difference matters at first fix, because an IOF bath needs its overflow tied into the waste run and a NOF bath does not, so settle it with your plumber before the pipework goes in.

Setting a Conrad Into a Deck

Dado publishes a built-in installation guide worth reading before the tiler starts. The bath sits on adjustable feet, a support wall is built in brick or drywall to the bath's own specification sheet, and the decking top is cut to fit over the rim. The recess is filled with river sand and the bath pressed into it until embedded. The waste joins the PVC pipe with a flexible pipe first, and the finished countertop sits on the decking, never on the bath.

Polished White and Pearl White

These are two treatments of the same solid material, not two products. Pearl white is the natural matte satin surface, non-glossy and soft to the touch. Polished white is the same shell taken to a low sheen, with no gel coat over it. Because the material is solid all the way through rather than a coating on a shell, a scratch in either finish can be sanded back and blended.
