Franke Cascade
Cascade is Franke's square edged drop-in range, four sinks running 925mm to 1360mm long on a 500mm width. Franke describes the design as following the European move to square shapes that sit correctly next to modern appliances, and builds the range in South Africa using monoblock pressing to keep welding out of the bowl. The Four Models
The CDX611 is the plain single bowl at 925x500mm, with a 343x410mm bowl 169mm deep. The CDX651 is the same 925x500mm footprint but adds a tidy, so the main bowl is 171mm deep and a second bowl of 160x280mm sits beside it. The CDX621-120 stretches to 1200x500mm as a double bowl, and the CDX671 is the three bowl model at 1360x500mm, pairing two main bowls with a tidy. Why the 500mm Width Matters
Most sinks of this length are wider. Franke got the draining area on Cascade by repositioning the bowls rather than by widening the sink, which means the range fits a 500mm run where a deeper sink would foul the cupboard or leave no worktop in front of it. Cut-Outs and Waste Fittings
