Franke Trendline

Trendline is the big end of the Franke sink catalogue. The seven sinks here run from 900mm to 1800mm long at 535mm deep, in single and double bowl layouts, and Franke specifies the range in austenitic stainless steel with a satin finish, pressed as one piece to keep welded seams out of the bowl. Drop-On, Not Undermount

Franke's own South African catalogue lists Trendline as a drop-on range, meaning the sink sits on top of the kitchen unit with its rim showing, which is what most people here call a drop-in. Franke also allows Trendline to be fixed to a pair of galvanised wall brackets instead of a cupboard, which is how these sinks end up in sculleries and laundries with nothing under them. What SEB, DCB and LHD Mean

Franke writes the bowl layout into the model name and its South African catalogue spells the codes out. SEB is single end bowl, DEB is double end bowl, SCB is single centre bowl and DCB is double centre bowl. End and centre describe where the bowl sits along the sink: an end bowl leaves one long draining area beside it, while a centre layout puts the bowls in the middle with draining area on both sides, which suits a run you work at from either side.

LHD and RHD are left hand drainer and right hand drainer.
