Rossco Freestanding Baths
Rossco builds its baths in composite rather than acrylic, and that decision shapes the rest of the range. Twenty-two designs are stocked here across eight families: Aurora, Kaya, Tania, Nungari, Naomi, Mieke, Greco and Cube. At R14,028 to R37,805 they are the most expensive pieces in the Rossco range, and they are chosen the way furniture is chosen, for silhouette and colour first.
Sizes, from a compact soaker to an 1800mm centrepiece
Recorded lengths run from 1380mm to 1800mm, with widths between 710mm and 800mm. The Kaya soaking bath is the short one at 1380x760x780mm, tall in the sidewall and narrow in footprint, which suits a room where floor space is the constraint. At the other end, the Nungari and the Cube both measure 1800mm. Twenty-one of the twenty-two carry a downloadable technical drawing, so dimensions can be checked against the room first. For shorter options across every brand, see small freestanding baths.
Colour, finish and what separates each family
White is the most common colourway at eight baths, then black at four, with single pieces in sandstone, terracotta, concrete grey and concrete. Recorded finishes include polished, gloss and matt. The Cube uses two at once, a gloss inner shell against a matt outer, in white, concrete or black. The Nungari sits on legs and the leg colour is the decision, white, gold or black, against the same polished white shell. Browse the darker pieces in Rossco black basins and baths, or the greys in Rossco concrete basins and baths.
Pairing the bath with the rest of the room
A freestanding bath reads best when the basin answers it rather than competes with it, which is why the Rossco freestanding basins share the same colour vocabulary, including the Turino pillar basin in black and concrete grey. Colour is hard to judge on a screen, sandstone and terracotta especially, so these are worth seeing at the Kramerville showroom.
If you are still weighing composite against acrylic, the full freestanding baths collection sets the Rossco pieces alongside every other option we carry.
Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes do Rossco freestanding baths come in?
Lengths across the 22 baths stocked here run from 1380mm to 1800mm, with widths between 710mm and 800mm. The Kaya soaking bath is the shortest at 1380x760x780mm, and the Nungari and Cube are the longest at 1800mm. Twenty-one of the 22 products carry a downloadable technical drawing, so you can check exact dimensions against your floor plan and plumbing positions before ordering.
What are Rossco freestanding baths made of?
Composite, for the most part. Of the 22 baths in this collection, 16 record their material as composite and one as solid composite. One is recorded as quartz, and four carry no material on the product record. That makes this a composite range rather than the acrylic that is common elsewhere in the freestanding bath category. Check the individual product page or its technical drawing for the material on any specific bath.
What colours and finishes are available?
White is the most widely stocked colourway at eight baths, then black at four, with single pieces in sandstone, terracotta, concrete grey and concrete. Recorded finishes include polished, gloss and matt. The Cube combines two finishes on one bath, a gloss inner shell with a matt outer, in white, concrete or black. Not every product has a colour or finish recorded, so the product title is often the fuller description.
How much does a Rossco freestanding bath cost?
Prices in this collection start at R14,028 and reach R37,805, with the midpoint around R23,288. The Tania is the entry point, while the Aurora and Greco baths sit at the top. These are the most expensive products in the Rossco range at Bella: every one of the eleven highest priced Rossco items we stock is a freestanding bath. The price on each product page is the current one.
Which Rossco bath suits a smaller bathroom?
The Kaya soaking bath is the obvious candidate. At 1380x760x780mm it is roughly 400mm shorter than the Nungari or the Cube, and its taller sidewall trades floor area for bathing depth. The Naomi and Tania families are also on the shorter side at around 1590mm to 1600mm. If none of those work, our small freestanding baths collection covers shorter options from every brand we stock.
