The Solo Toilets collection holds nine products: six close-couple suites, two wall-hung pans that are listed as supplied with a seat, and one replacement toilet seat. Prices on this page run from R772.76 for the seat up to R4,729.56 for the Mykonos suite, which suits a family bathroom, a guest cloakroom or a rental refit. It sits inside the wider Solo sanitaryware range.
The close-couple suites are the Tamarin, offered in both a front-flush and a top-flush version, plus the Maldives, the Mykonos Top Flush, the Arctic Top Flush and the Orion Top Flush. The two wall-hung pans are the Fiji and the Bali. Colour and finish are only recorded on some of these listings, so where that detail matters, read it off the individual product page.
Close-couple or wall-hung
A close-couple suite is the familiar format: the cistern bolts directly onto the back of the pan and the whole unit stands on the floor, so it arrives as one self-contained job. A wall-hung pan is fixed to the wall and leaves the floor clear underneath, which makes a small room read as bigger and the floor quicker to clean. It is the more involved installation, because the cistern and its supporting framework sit behind the wall and are not part of the pan listing. Ask your plumber to confirm what the wall build-up allows.
The Bermuda toilet seat
One product here is a seat on its own: the Bermuda white PVC soft-closing seat, at R772.76. Soft-closing means the lid is damped rather than dropped, which is worth having in a shared bathroom. Fit is the thing to get right, though. We do not publish fixing centres or pan dimensions for it, so measure your own pan and check the seat against that specific model before you order.

Most people buying a toilet are redoing more of the bathroom than the toilet.
