Duravit Showers
Duravit Showers
This page holds everything Duravit makes for the shower itself. It runs from the acrylic tray on the floor through showerheads, wall and ceiling arms, handshowers and hoses to the thermostatic columns and the concealed and exposed mixers that drive them. Tap series here are C.1, B.2, Wave, Tulum, Tulum by Starck and D-Code, so a shower can be specified in the same design language as the basin mixer on our Duravit taps page.
Shower Trays
The trays here are D-Code, made in acrylic, in 1000 x 1000 mm, 1200 x 800 mm, 1200 x 900 mm and 1800 x 900 mm. The square sizes suit a corner enclosure and the longer rectangles suit a walk-in along one wall or a bath replacement, since 1800 x 900 mm drops neatly into the footprint a standard bath leaves behind. The waste outlet is a separate item. Duravit lists a D-Code outlet drain in chrome for these trays, so budget for it rather than assuming it is in the box.
Showerheads, Arms, Handshowers and Hoses
Overhead showerheads run from a compact 100 mm through 200, 230, 240 and 250 mm up to a 300 x 300 mm head that Duravit lists for ceiling or wall mounting, in chrome and matt black. The arm decides where the head sits: 210 mm and 410 mm arms come off the wall, while a 300 mm ceiling arm and a ceiling connector drop the head straight down over the standing position. Handshowers are 110 mm round in chrome and matt black, with 1250 mm hoses in both finishes to match.
Columns and Shower Mixers
A shower system is the quickest route to a finished shower because the column, the overhead, the handshower and the mixer arrive as one matched set. The C.1 thermostatic system and the system with the 1050 mm shelf sit in this group. A thermostatic mixer holds your set temperature even when another outlet in the house is opened, which is the practical argument for one. If you want nothing on the wall but the outlets, the concealed single lever mixers from C.1, B.2, Wave, Tulum and D-Code bury the valve behind the tiles.
Match the shower to the rest of the room through the D-Code and Starck pages, or see the full Duravit range. If the bath is staying, Duravit baths lists the tubs and the bath diverter mixers that share a wall with the shower.
