Geberit Duofix Frames
Duofix is the Geberit installation element for drywall and prewall construction, and it is what holds a wall-hung fitting up once the tiling is done. The frames are statically self-supporting, so they carry the load rather than passing it to the back wall, which also keeps the installation acoustically decoupled in room-height builds. They can be set out by one person, and they suit floor construction up to 25 cm high and WCs with a projection of up to 70 cm.
WC Elements with Sigma, Alpha and Omega Cisterns
The WC elements come at 82, 98, 112 and 114 cm, supplied complete with the concealed cistern already fitted. Bella Bathrooms carries the 112 cm element with a Sigma concealed cistern 12 cm, the 112 cm element with an Alpha concealed cistern 12 cm running 6 and 3 litres, the 82 cm and 98 cm elements with an Omega concealed cistern 12 cm, and a 114 cm element built around an 8 cm cistern for tight prewall depths. The flush plate is bought separately and has to come from the same family as the cistern in the frame.
Basin, Bidet, Urinal and Shower Elements
Duofix is not only a WC system. Shower Elements and Fixings
The shower elements deal with the hardest part of a level-access shower, which is getting the drain and the screed to agree. The 50 cm element with wall drain is supplied for a screed height at the inlet of 65 to 90 mm or 90 to 200 mm, and the 130 cm element adds a concealed wall-mounted tap. Getting the screed band right at rough-in stage is what stops a callback later.

Height refers to the element, not the finished seat height. WC elements are made at 82, 98, 112 and 114 cm. The 112 cm element is the standard choice for a full-height prewall. The 82 cm and 98 cm elements suit a low prewall that runs under a window or forms a shelf, and they use an Omega cistern because it can be actuated from the top as well as the front.
Does a Duofix element include the flush plate?
No. The WC elements are supplied with the concealed cistern already fitted, but the actuator plate is a separate purchase so you can choose the design and finish yourself.
